Job Summary
The Assistant Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading a group of 20 mechanics and 7 porters, ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of industrial laundry equipment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage preventive maintenance initiatives to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
- Monitor the quality of repairs to maintain optimal performance of laundry equipment.
- Ensure the physical environment adheres to safety protocols and cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance within an industrial setting.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrated expertise with high voltage (480V), as well as pneumatic, steam, and hydraulic systems.
- Able to work on a schedule from Tuesday to Saturday.
