The Assistant Diesel Mechanic plays a vital role in supporting the maintenance and repair of diesel engines and related systems. This position is essential for ensuring the operational efficiency of our fleet by assisting senior mechanics in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines.
- Support lead mechanics in diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to enhance vehicle performance.
- Maintain an organized workspace and assist in inventory management of tools and parts.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of diesel mechanics and engine systems.
