Job Summary
The Conduit Machine Operator is responsible for overseeing the operation of dedicated machinery that produces conduit and related materials. This role entails ensuring the efficiency, safety, and quality of the manufacturing process while adhering to company standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate conduit manufacturing equipment proficiently, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
- Monitor production runs and implement necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and perform necessary maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Document production data accurately for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals while maintaining safety protocols.
- Assist in training new employees on machine operations and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machinery operation is preferred.
- Proven experience as a machine operator, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills to report issues and collaborate with team members.
