Job description
The machinist plays a key role in the setup and operation of CNC or manual machinery to manufacture high-precision aerospace components in accordance with detailed specifications. Responsibilities include conducting quality assessments, ensuring the workspace is orderly through the application of 5S methodologies, and following established safety guidelines. Ideal candidates usually possess prior experience in machine operation, a fundamental understanding of mechanical concepts, and the capability to read blueprints and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Candidates must qualify as U.S. Persons as outlined by ITAR and EAR regulations.
