Job Summary
The Data Center Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of technicians dedicated to the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of physical server hardware and networking systems. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to formulate and execute operational strategies while making certain that all practices are in line with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of technicians focused on server and networking hardware.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of physical server infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot hardware and networking issues effectively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement operational strategies.
- Ensure adherence to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in computing infrastructure or hardware.
- At least 2 years of experience in managing technical teams.
- Willingness to work non-standard hours as required for the role.
