Job Summary

The Director of Risk & Controls is responsible for establishing and leading the enterprise-level risk and controls framework, acting as the main liaison for risk management and governance initiatives. This position includes steering the Risk & Compliance Committee, overseeing project governance, and leveraging AI technologies to assess and ensure business compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the risk and controls function across the enterprise.
• Act as the principal point of contact for all risk mitigation and governance activities.
• Facilitate the Risk & Compliance Committee to enhance oversight and accountability.
• Manage project governance processes to ensure effective risk management.
• Utilize AI tools for monitoring business compliance and conducting regulatory testing.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of extensive experience in risk, compliance, or control management within the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management with a strong track record of successful implementations.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency in developing processes from the ground up, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.
