Job Title: Robotics Teacher

Department: Academics

Position Summary: The Robotics Teacher will take charge of creating and conducting captivating lessons that support student success, personal development, and overall wellness. This position entails nurturing an affirmative, welcoming classroom atmosphere, upholding high levels of professionalism, and working in partnership with fellow educators, families, and school administration to advance the institution’s objectives. Through creative teaching methods, precise evaluations, and effective communication, the Teacher equips learners to thrive both academically and in life beyond the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating educational setting that encourages student-athletes to unlock their full potential.

• Develop, execute, and refine teaching activities that align with curriculum requirements and stimulate active, significant learning experiences for students.

• Create, administer, and evaluate assessments to track student advancement, guide instruction, and ensure ongoing achievement of educational goals.

• Differentiate lessons by identifying, selecting, and adjusting resources to accommodate the varied needs of student-athletes with distinct backgrounds, learning preferences, and capabilities.

• Cultivate and sustain a positive educational environment that fosters respect, accountability, and self-discipline per school policies.

• Keep accurate and timely records, such as grades, attendance, and other documentation essentials per laws, accreditation standards, and school regulations.

• Maintain regular and effective communication with students, parents, colleagues, and administration about student progress, requirements, and accomplishments.

• Incorporate technology and innovative strategies to enrich instruction and boost student engagement.

• Engage in collaboration with other educators and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to reinforce school initiatives and personal growth.

• Exemplify high standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all interactions with students, families, and the wider community.

• Assist with school events, extracurricular activities, and any other responsibilities that promote a supportive school environment.

• Comply with all school protocols, procedures, and codes of conduct.

• Carry out additional duties as requested.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field

• Strong classroom management abilities are essential

• Highly organized and adaptable in addressing the needs of boarding students and their families

• Ability to develop and deliver effective lesson plans tailored to diverse student needs

• Superior organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities to foster collaborative connections with students, families, and peers.

• Proficient in technology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field

• Experience with student athletes

• Background as a former student-athlete

• Experience in international education

• Bilingual capabilities
