Job Summary
The Complex RN position at Pope Elementary School involves providing comprehensive nursing services to students, addressing their health needs, and promoting a healthy school environment. This role is essential in managing student health issues and ensuring compliance with health regulations, while also collaborating with parents, staff, and health professionals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care to students and manage chronic and acute health conditions.
- Conduct health assessments and maintain accurate health records.
- Provide first aid and emergency care as needed.
- Educate students and staff on health-related topics and wellness practices.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to support student health initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health regulations.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
- Experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a school environment.
- Knowledge of health regulations and emergency care protocols.
