Job Summary
The CNC Machinist for the 3rd Shift is responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision components. This role requires keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards in manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and performance standards.
- Perform regular inspections of the machines and products to ensure adherence to quality guidelines.
- Make necessary adjustments to machine settings for optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and any adjustments made during the machining process.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production workflows and resolve any machinery-related issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machining is a plus.
- Previous experience as a CNC machinist or in a similar role is required.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and tooling.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
