**Registered Nurse**
The Registered Nurse is tasked with providing secure, effective, and autonomous patient care, utilizing the AACN Synergy Model for Patient Care. In this role, they act as a clinical support resource for peers, engage in collaborative efforts within interdisciplinary teams, and undertake leadership roles such as serving as a charge nurse. Candidates should have a valid, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Georgia and must either possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with at least 12 months of experience or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience. A BLS certification is mandatory, and depending on the department, additional certifications such as ACLS may be required.
