Job Summary
We are seeking capable and enthusiastic Nurse Practitioners (NP) or Physician Assistants (PA) to become part of our dynamic team in the Emergency Department and Urgent Care setting located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This role involves collaboration with the Emergency Department Medical Director and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients in the emergency and urgent care settings.
- Order and interpret lab tests and diagnostic imaging as necessary.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in conjunction with the medical team.
- Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Experience in an emergency or urgent care environment is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
