Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Stone Oak, specifically for weekend shifts. This role is essential for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring adherence to all clinical and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess patient health status on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and care protocols.
- Document patient histories and updates accurately in electronic health records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state.
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in acute care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
