Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Night Shift within the Medical/Surgical unit for a contract position based in Cleveland, OH. This role is scheduled for a duration of 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical unit during the night shift.
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Assist with patient education and support their needs during recovery.
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification.
- Verification of nursing license or certification.
- Documentation of immunizations including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza.
- Successful completion of a Fit Test for respirators.
- Submission of UHS I-9 Attestation and proof of Ohio Fingerprints.
- Completion of UHS skills checklist and competency exams.
- Health statement confirming physical fitness for duty.
- Valid Driver’s License or State ID and documentation for 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing.
- Background checks including UHS criminal and OIG search.
- Successful drug screening results and completion of UHS Module Completion Certificate.
- Prior employment verification with UHS requirements.
- UHS badge photo submission.
