Job Summary
This role involves delivering nursing care to patients while working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Additionally, the position entails overseeing Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and ensuring precise documentation is maintained in the electronic medical record system.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to patients as prescribed.
- Implement care plans in coordination with the RN.
- Supervise the activities of CNA staff to ensure quality care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- Valid Connecticut State license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Preferred at least one year of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
