Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for enhancing and restoring the mental health of patients by delivering direct nursing care and demonstrating clinical leadership within a supportive inpatient setting. This role involves contributing to the creation of care plans and serving as a mentor for fellow staff members while fostering positive interactions with patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a therapeutic environment.
- Participate in the formulation and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Act as a role model and mentor for other nursing staff.
- Maintain constructive relationships with patients to support their mental health recovery.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing.
- Current license to practice in Washington State.
- A minimum of one year of experience in inpatient psychiatric nursing.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
