The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for executing standard radiological procedures and utilizing technical expertise to produce high-quality diagnostic images, while prioritizing patient safety throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine radiological procedures with precision.
- Leverage technical judgment to ensure the acquisition of high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prioritize and maintain patient safety during imaging procedures.
- Oversee patient tracking and monitor the cleanliness of radiological equipment.
- Perform clerical duties related to the functioning of the radiology department.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Must possess a New York State Department of Health license or a valid temporary permit.
