Job Summary
The Supervisory Biologist plays a vital role within the Laboratories of Research and Development at the James A. Haley VA Medical Center. This position is responsible for overseeing biological research processes and will report directly to the Director of Research Operations for Research Service and Development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage biological research projects within the laboratory setting.
- Ensure compliance with research regulations and protocols.
- Supervise staff and coordinate training programs for laboratory personnel.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advance research objectives.
- Oversee the collection and analysis of biological data.
- Develop and implement new research methodologies.
- Prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders and leadership.
