Job Summary
The Powder Coater plays a crucial role in the preparation, application, and finishing of components through the use of manual lines and batch ovens. This position demands a keen eye for detail, as well as a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in the finishing process.
Responsibilities
- Prepare components for coating by ensuring they are clean and ready for application.
- Apply powder coatings effectively using manual application techniques and batch ovens.
- Conduct inspections of finished parts to guarantee quality standards are met.
- Maintain and service coating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Keep work areas organized and adhere to safety standards throughout the coating process.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- 1-2 years of experience in powder coating is preferred.
- Familiarity with GEMA equipment is advantageous.
- Experience operating a forklift is preferred.
