Job Summary
The Wastewater DAF Technician is responsible for the operation, monitoring, and upkeep of the Dissolved Air Flotation system, which is crucial for the effective elimination of pollutants from industrial wastewater. This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with regulations through various maintenance and testing activities.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the Dissolved Air Flotation system to facilitate contaminant removal from wastewater.
- Perform laboratory analyses to assess water quality and treatment efficacy.
- Manage and oversee chemical feed systems for optimal performance.
- Conduct routine maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment to uphold regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in wastewater treatment or industrial pretreatment is essential.
- Strong mechanical skills and aptitude are necessary.
- Ability to carry out laboratory tests and analyze process control data effectively.
