The Logistics Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering practical logistics support, ensuring equipment accountability, and maintaining operational readiness for research and development initiatives. Responsibilities include overseeing inventory management, handling calibration tasks, and executing tool-control responsibilities, all while ensuring that laboratory practices align with Air Force standards. Applicants must have an active Top Secret clearance, along with 3 to 7 years of experience in logistics and equipment management within military or Department of Defense settings. A solid understanding of PMEL/TMDE, tool control processes, and safety protocols is essential to effectively support both laboratory and field operations.
