Job Summary
The Finance Intern will support the finance department by assisting with a variety of accounting functions. This includes tasks such as performing reconciliations, reviewing expenses, and providing support for journal entries. The intern will also have the opportunity to work on special projects, ensure the accuracy of records, and participate in mentorship experiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist in completing general accounting tasks including reconciliations and journal entry support.
- Conduct expense reviews to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Participate in various special projects as designated by the finance team.
- Maintain detailed and accurate financial records.
- Engage in mentorship opportunities within the finance department.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be current university students who have completed their sophomore year.
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 is necessary for consideration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is expected.
- Strong attention to detail and integrity are essential traits for applicants.
