Job Summary
The Accounting Manager position is based in Silver City, New Mexico, and operates on an onsite work arrangement. This role functions under the guidance of the Controller and CFO, playing a critical part in the overarching financial management within the organization. The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing various accounting tasks that include payroll processing, executing inventory counts, and overseeing tax-related activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage payroll processing efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accurate records.
- Oversee tax compliance and related financial regulations.
- Collaborate with the public accounting firm providing services to hospitals.
Qualifications
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in accounting roles.
- Strong proficiency in payroll and tax processes.
- Experience in inventory management and financial statement preparation.
- Ability to work effectively under the direction of senior financial management.
