Job Summary
The Activities Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the community’s Art of Living Well philosophy by engaging with residents, organizing events, and leading classes. This position is crucial for promoting overall resident well-being and ensuring their active participation in various programs.
Responsibilities
- Engage with residents to foster a sense of community and connection.
- Coordinate and implement events that align with the community’s philosophy.
- Instruct classes that enhance the residents’ quality of life.
- Monitor resident health and well-being to provide appropriate assistance.
- Assist residents with transportation as needed.
- Facilitate both group and individual programs tailored to resident needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma is required.
- One to two years of experience in life enrichment programs, particularly working with seniors.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
- First Aid certification is necessary for this position.
