Job Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Gynecology at Fox Chase Cancer Center plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients with gynecologic conditions. This position involves direct patient management, collaboration with healthcare teams, and participation in ongoing education and research initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop care plans.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and assist in various gynecologic surgeries.
- Coordinate patient follow-ups and continuity of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective treatment strategies.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing or an equivalent level of education.
- Current state licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Experience in gynecology or oncology preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
