Job Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive inpatient medical care. This position is based in Portland, Oregon, and requires a strong collaborative approach as the provider will interact regularly with supervising physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct extensive inpatient medical management for patients.
- Collaborate with supervising physicians on patient care strategies.
- Oversee and interpret laboratory results to inform treatment plans.
- Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork with nurses, therapists, and case managers.
Qualifications
- Master of Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent educational background for Physician Assistants.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) for Nurse Practitioners.
- An unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
