Job Summary
The assembler plays a crucial role in the production process by constructing products based on detailed blueprints, work orders, and oral directions. This position also includes responsibility for managing inventory, packaging completed goods, and upholding a clean and safe workspace.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products in accordance with provided blueprints and specifications.
- Utilize various hand tools for assembly tasks effectively.
- Oversee inventory collection and management.
- Package finished products for distribution.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Mechanically inclined with demonstrated experience in using basic hand tools.
- Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and specifications.
- Basic mathematical skills are necessary for the role.
- Must be physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
