Job description
The Assistant Cook plays a vital role in preparing both hot and cold meals for students and staff within a school or institutional environment. This position involves the safe operation of kitchen equipment and the ability to take on the responsibilities of the Cook when necessary. Applicants should possess a valid certificate in Food Service Administration or have one year of full-time paid experience in large-scale food preparation. Furthermore, candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and secure authorization for employment from the State Education Department.
