**Job Title: Assistant Cook**
The Assistant Cook plays a vital role in helping to prepare both hot and cold meals for students, faculty, and patients in various institutional environments. This position involves the operation of kitchen equipment and may require the Assistant Cook to take on the responsibilities of the Cook in their absence. To qualify, candidates need to have a valid certification in Food Service Administration or at least one year of paid, full-time experience in large-scale food preparation. Furthermore, candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and receive employment clearance from the State Education Department.
