Job description
The Assistant Head Mechanic will play a vital role in the daily operations of the shop, conducting diagnostics and repairs on commercial vehicles, while ensuring that the fleet adheres to DOT regulations. This position involves collaborating in the training and oversight of mechanics, as well as maintaining precise service logs and upholding safety standards within the workshop. Applicants should possess a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in commercial truck repairs, along with relevant supervisory or support experience. A high school diploma or its equivalent is mandatory, with a preference for candidates who have completed vocational training in automotive technology.
