**Job Title: Authorization Specialist III**
The Authorization Specialist III is responsible for overseeing intricate and time-sensitive authorization requests, which encompass managing denials and appeals. This role also involves confirming insurance coverage and collaborating with referral sources and internal departments to guarantee proper billing and quality patient care. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED, along with a minimum of two years of experience in medical intake or pharmacy authorization. Expertise in HCPC coding, ICD-10, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems is necessary, and candidates with professional certifications such as CPhT or LPN will be given preference.
