**Job Title: Automation & Controls Engineer**
The Automation & Controls Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the integration of metallurgical processing machinery within a closed-loop, AI-driven experimental framework. Key duties involve creating middleware using Python to convert experimental commands into machine operations, as well as establishing safety measures for automated equipment that operates at high temperatures. Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of six years of pertinent experience. Strong skills in Python, PLC programming, and familiarity with industrial or scientific equipment are highly desirable.
