Job Summary
The Automotive Lube Technician plays a vital role in maintaining vehicle performance by performing lube and oil changes, and providing basic vehicle maintenance services. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to customer service while ensuring that all work adheres to safety standards and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and lube services on various types of vehicles.
- Inspect and top off fluids such as coolant, transmission, and brake fluids.
- Replace oil filters and check air filters.
- Conduct visual inspections of vehicles and report any issues or necessary repairs to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain proper use of tools and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and educating customers about vehicle maintenance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in automotive services or a related field is a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and basic repair techniques.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Must be physically able to perform the tasks required within the role.
