Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the care pathways for patients with structural heart conditions and those undergoing electrophysiology (EP) treatments. This role includes the organization of screenings, diagnostic testing, and medical procedures. The coordinator acts as the main liaison for referring providers while enhancing communication among the interdisciplinary cardiovascular care team.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the care pathways for patients with structural heart and EP conditions.
- Organize and oversee screenings, testing, and procedural activities.
- Serve as the primary contact for referring healthcare providers.
- Facilitate effective communication among members of the cardiovascular team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.
- Current nursing license valid in Illinois.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in cardiovascular surgery or cardiology of 2-5 years is essential.
