Job description

Job Summary

The Behavioral Technician – PT Swing role focuses on providing support and assistance to individuals with behavioral challenges. This position is essential in implementing treatment plans and facilitating positive behavioral change in a structured environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized care and support to clients under the guidance of a supervisor.
  • Assist in implementing treatment programs and behavior management strategies.
  • Monitor and document client progress, ensuring accurate records of behavior and activities.
  • Engage clients in therapeutic activities that promote skill development and social interactions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize support for clients.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in behavioral health preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with behavioral or developmental challenges.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and team members.
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and their application.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
