Job Summary
The role of the Biologist/Physical Scientist/Chemist (Quality Assurance Manager) involves overseeing critical quality assurance processes within scientific disciplines. The position is based in Duluth, Minnesota, and is designed for individuals who possess a strong educational background and relevant experience in the biological, physical science, or chemistry fields. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in quality assurance methodologies and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and direct quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Evaluate and synthesize data from various scientific disciplines to enhance QA processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure that laboratory and research practices adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Prepare documentation and reports related to quality assessments and audits.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline such as biology, physical science, or chemistry.
- Demonstrated experience in quality assurance or related fields; a combination of education and experience is also acceptable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
- Understanding of regulatory standards applicable to scientific quality assurance.
