Job Summary
The Building Facilities Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the facilities team, ensuring the facility’s operations are conducted safely and efficiently, while also overseeing scheduled preventative maintenance activities. This position requires effective coordination with different departments to facilitate equipment repairs and manage onsite contractors, all while maintaining thorough documentation within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the facilities team to ensure optimal operational performance.
- Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance tasks to enhance facility reliability.
- Coordinate with various departments for effective management of equipment repairs.
- Supervise onsite contractors to ensure work meets established standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the CMMS.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting is required.
- Proven abilities in supervisory roles as well as contractor management.
- Expertise in facility equipment maintenance and HVAC systems is essential.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the workplace.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills are vital for this position.
