Job Summary
The role of the Business Systems Analyst – JD Edwards is pivotal in enhancing business functions by optimizing the JD Edwards system. This position is situated within a privately owned, globally recognized organization specializing in manufacturing and engineering, where innovation is a key focus. The analyst will engage closely with various business stakeholders to ensure that system improvements align with operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and document requirements for system enhancements.
- Analyze current JD Edwards processes and recommend optimizations to improve efficiency.
- Serve as a liaison between the technical team and business units to facilitate improved functionality.
- Support the implementation of new JD Edwards features and updates.
- Monitor system performance and user satisfaction to guide further enhancements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with JD Edwards in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in project management or systems analysis is advantageous.
- Ability to work onsite in Shelby Township, Michigan, and contribute to team collaboration effectively.
