The Buyer I plays a crucial role in the procurement, acquisition, and logistical management of materials, components, and services essential for the aerospace manufacturing sector. This position involves cultivating supplier partnerships, ensuring adherence to aerospace industry regulations, and identifying potential cost-saving initiatives. Applicants should possess 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, ideally within the aerospace field. A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred, and candidates should demonstrate expertise in ERP systems as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
