Job Summary
The CAD/BIM – Design Technology Specialist II role is vital in advancing company initiatives in design technology. This position focuses on leveraging CAD and BIM software tools to enhance project efficiency and accuracy, providing support to design teams in the adoption and effective use of these technologies. Specialist II will play a key role in promoting best practices and fostering innovation within the design process.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and training to design teams in the use of CAD and BIM applications.
- Establish and maintain standards for CAD and BIM processes across projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to integrate design technology solutions tailored to project needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and update processes accordingly.
- Assist in the development of project templates, libraries, and best practice guides for design technology usage.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM software, with a focus on industry-standard applications.
- Experience in design technology implementation within a professional setting.
