Job Summary
The CAD Drafter is responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role involves translating design concepts into technical specifications to support various projects and ensure precision in engineering and architectural designs.
Responsibilities
- Create and revise detailed CAD drawings to support project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to clarify design intentions and incorporate changes.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards in all drawings produced.
- Maintain current CAD file databases and manage document revisions effectively.
- Assist in preparing presentations and project documentation as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar programs.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent technical drawing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Understanding of engineering and architectural principles.
- Previous experience in drafting or technical drawing is a plus.
