Job Summary
Intermountain Health is looking for a talented Surgical Technologist to join our Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) team in Millcreek, Utah. This onsite position involves crucial responsibilities focused on ensuring optimal patient care and maintaining a sterile environment during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field throughout surgical operations.
- Select and manage surgical instruments and supplies accurately.
- Perform counts of instruments and materials to ensure nothing is left in the patient’s body.
- Assist in positioning patients and ensuring their safety during procedures.
- Deliver high-quality, mission-driven care while supporting the surgical team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Surgical Technologist, specifically in a cardiovascular setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Certification or licensure as required by the state or organization.
