Job Summary
The Caregiver plays a crucial role in supporting individuals who require assistance with daily living activities due to health conditions or age. The primary focus is on providing compassionate care while promoting the well-being and dignity of those being served.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care routines, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Help with meal preparation and medication reminders as necessary.
- Support clients in performing light household tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Develop and maintain effective communication with family members regarding the care and needs of the client.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate care.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a caregiving context.
- Certification in CPR and first aid is a plus.
