Job Summary
The role of a Caregiver involves providing essential support and assistance to individuals who require help with daily living activities, ensuring their well-being and comfort. This position demands compassion, patience, and the ability to facilitate a safe environment for clients in a variety of settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for individuals.
- Help with meal preparation and dietary management according to client’s needs.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Assist with mobility and transportation for errands or medical appointments.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is often required.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle physical and emotional demands effectively.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
