Job Summary
The role involves providing essential clinical assistance to patients across all age groups, guided by the instructions of a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. The candidate will be responsible for accurately documenting patient details, carrying out routine tests, maintaining exam environments, managing supplies, and facilitating scheduling and medication management processes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical support to patients of various age demographics as per the guidance of healthcare providers.
- Document and update patient information accurately.
- Conduct routine tests and assist in medical procedures.
- Ensure exam rooms are organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing medication workflows.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
- Must possess current medical assistant certification or registration.
- Must have a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) card from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: At least six months of clinical experience in a private-practice setting.
- Ability to travel to neighboring offices as needed.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
- Attention to detail and collaborative team spirit are important traits.
