Job Summary
The Certified Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting healthcare providers during patient assessments, treatments, and various clinical activities. This role requires the individual to meticulously maintain medical records and ensure that all clinical operations are conducted in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatment procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient.
- Perform clerical duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
- Stock and organize medical supplies to ensure efficiency within the clinical setting.
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment in the clinical area to promote patient safety and comfort.
Qualifications
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) provider certification is mandatory.
- A high school diploma or equivalent educational background is necessary.
- One year of relevant work experience in a similar role is preferable.
