Job description

Job Summary

The Certified Medical Assistant for Women’s Care plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals in a clinical environment, focusing specifically on women’s health services. This position entails direct patient interaction, assisting with examinations, and ensuring high-quality care delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
  • Take and record patient histories and vital signs accurately.
  • Prepare examination rooms, including sterilizing instruments and arranging supplies.
  • Manage patient flow and maintain efficient appointment scheduling.
  • Educate patients on health topics and proper care practices.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as handling medical records and processing insurance information.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assisting program preferred.
  • Certification from a recognized medical assistant organization.
  • Proficient in basic medical procedures and patient care techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Recent experience in a clinical setting is advantageous.
