Job Summary
The Aide plays a crucial role in delivering direct care and assistance to patients in various settings, including their residences and healthcare facilities. This position involves supporting individuals with everyday living tasks while also tracking essential health indicators.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist patients with daily living activities as needed.
- Monitor and record vital signs to assess patients’ health status.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective medication administration.
- Implement and adapt care plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Possession of valid Maryland Board of Nursing CMT and CNA licenses is mandatory.
- Current CPR certification is essential for this role.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
