Job Summary
The role of the aide involves delivering direct care and support to patients either in their residences or within healthcare settings. This position is crucial for assisting individuals with their daily living activities and ensuring the continuation of vital sign monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to patients with everyday living activities.
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary.
- Administer medications as per the directives of healthcare professionals.
- Work collaboratively with medical staff to put individualized care plans into action.
Qualifications
- Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Valid Maryland Board of Nursing CMT and CNA licenses are required.
- Certification in CPR is mandatory.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective patient interaction.
