Job Summary
The primary objective of this role is to deliver comprehensive personal care to residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being while supporting their daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal grooming, bathing, and dressing.
- Provide catheter and perineal care as needed.
- Facilitate mobility support and conduct routine repositioning for residents.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Document vital signs, food consumption, and other essential information accurately.
- Encourage resident engagement through exercise and reality orientation activities.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas.
- Able to accurately record pertinent information and perform necessary technical tasks.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach towards elderly individuals and those with disabilities.
- Demonstrated patience, self-discipline, and a commitment to upholding resident rights and safety standards.
