Job Summary
Surgery Partners is looking for an experienced surgical technologist with a minimum of 2 years in the operating room to become a part of our surgical team in Madison, Mississippi. This position is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and safety of surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Support the surgical team by preparing the operating room, setting up sterile instruments, and maintaining a clean environment.
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and anticipating needs to ensure a smooth surgical process.
- Uphold high standards of patient safety and adhere to sterile technique protocols at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to optimize workflow and patient care.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid surgical technologist certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- At least two years of hands-on experience in an operating room setting is essential.
- Strong commitment to patient safety and adherence to sterile techniques.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively.
